Doobeegood is an educational NGO on a mission to provide access to unparalleled educational experiences for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We believe that every subject can be taught in a fun interactive way, relying on curiosity and harnessing a child’s potential.
It was founded in 2022 as a response to the war in Ukraine, initially serving Ukrainian refugees. Our mission has since expanded to include support for Roma children, positively impacting the lives of over 180 kids to date.
What we do
We run educational summer camps for Ukrainian refugees and Roma kids and support them through continuous one-on-one tutoring throughout the year.
Our summer camps cater to children aged 8 to 12, featuring a diverse range of activities from robotics and crafts to music and yoga, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for every participant.
We strive to ignite a lifelong passion for discovery in each child, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in their future endeavors.
Who we are
We are Diana and Viktoriia – a Romanian and a Ukrainian, passionate about education and giving children from disadvantaged backgrounds the tools to thrive in an ever-changing complex world.
With our rich backgrounds as data scientists at a leading AI company in London, we bring a wealth of knowledge and an insatiable curiosity to the table. Our aim is to inspire and contribute, turning our insights into action for the benefit of the next generation.
